Mark LeMay Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City on Mar. 17, 2026.
Mark LeMay, 69, passed away on March 8, 2026, in League City, Texas. Born on June 21, 1956, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Mark lived a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and work.

Mark grew up in a family of six with two sisters and three brothers. His early years were spent in Kenosha before the family moved to Lansing, Illinois, and later to Hammond, Indiana. He was the last of his siblings to pass, following the loss of his parents in 1986.

Mark's career was as diverse as it was impressive. He began by building Army tanks and later moved to California, where he contributed to work on the space station. His career path then led him to Disneyland, where he played a vital role inspecting attractions, railroads, and buildings. Throughout his professional life, Mark demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence by continually pursuing education and certifications to refine his skills.

A man of deep faith, Mark returned to his Catholic roots after moving to California in the late 1980s. He became an active member of the Knights of Columbus and participated in numerous church functions. His involvement extended to volunteering for the RCIA program and other church activities. Mark's daily prayers and devotions were a testament to his spiritual dedication.

In his personal life, Mark found joy in fishing, hunting, camping, and woodworking projects. These hobbies reflected his love for nature and hands-on craftsmanship. He was also deeply devoted to his family and worked tirelessly to provide for them while cherishing their time together.

Mark's legacy is one of hard work, faithfulness, and love for those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 17270 Ward Street
