ALTERMATT, JOHN A. "JACK" Age 84 March 9, 2022. Beloved husband of Darlene. Loving father of Jeffrey (Jeanne) Altermatt, Lynnette (Mark) Lathrop, Renee (Michael) Fuhrmann & Jennifer (Paul) von Zittwitz. Proud grandpa of Jacob, Kaitlyn, Annabelle, Henry, Brandon, Emma, Nicole & Nicholas. Dear son of the late Joseph & the late Elizabeth Altermatt. Dearest brother of Eugene (the late Lillian) Altermatt, Elizabeth (the late Lawton) Smith, Sister Pat Altermatt SSJ, the late Elaine (Gene) Zawisa, Margaret (the late William) Tunnicliff, Joseph (Sharon) Altermatt, Mary Thebo, Timothy (the late Cheryl) Altermatt, the late Anthony (Janice) Altermatt, William (Karen) Altermatt, Donald Altermatt, Theresa (Rick) Nelson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Jack was a life long farmer and owner of Altermatt Farms in Macomb Township which was founded in 1960. Visitation at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Twp.) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Sunday 2-9pm with 7:00pm Scripture Service. Funeral Monday Instate 9:30am at St. Isidore Church 18201 23 Mile Road at Romeo Plank until time of Mass at 10:00am. Interment Davis Cemetery. Donations to Michigan Parkinson Foundation are welcome.
