John Patrick Amato, 87, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
John was born on January 9, 1938 in Philadelphia, the son of the late Joseph Amato and Louise (Lucarella) Amato. He is the husband of Agnes McGlinchey Amato and have shared 36 years together.
John enjoyed old movies and listening to music.
In addition to his wife, Agnes, John is survived by a sons, Johnnyo Amato of Coudersport; Edward Eberhardt of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Erica Y. Eberhardt of Coudersport; a brother, Jimmy Fahy of Philadelphia; grandchildren: Ryland, Lillianna, Maddox, Atlas, Kensley, and Christian. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter Christina Marie Amato, and a brother, James Joseph Amato.
