In Loving Memory of

John Tucker "JT" Anderson

May 5, 1978 – December 1, 2025

We remember John Tucker Anderson… known to friends simply as "JT" passed away on December 1, 2025 from a hemorrhagic stroke in Murray, Utah.

JT was born on May 5, 1978 in Provo, Utah to Mark Tucker Anderson and Aleca Alleman Anderson. He grew up in Utah and attended Timpview High School, graduating in 1996. During his school years, JT developed a love for tennis, playing competitively and later attending the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in 1992. He also learned classical guitar as a young man and loved skiing. JT couldn't be caught in the moguls, dangerously straight lining his way down the mountain. His enthusiasm was contagious.

JT continued his education at the University of Hawaii and the University of Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He was a proud member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, Delta Sigma Chapter. JT deeply valued the friendships he made over the years, in all chapters of life, and was fiercely loyal. Even if years had passed without contact, JT would drop everything to help a friend.

JT had a great sense of humor and a deep love for art, fashion, and cars. He cherished his family and was very proud of them. Professionally, he built and operated a successful management business, Elite Services, based in San Diego, California. JT took pride in the annual tradition of cleaning the Angel Moroni on top of the San Diego LDS Temple (this is where his sense of humor kicked in), a task he and his company undertook for many years. He also worked on many other landmark buildings throughout the city and was proud of the business he created from the ground up.

JT is survived by his beloved daughter, Madeline Anderson; his loving mother, Aleca Alleman Anderson; his father, Mark Tucker Anderson; his uncle, John B. Alleman; his sisters, Amy Anderson Lyday and Nicolette A. Gillman; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn H. Lyday and Andrew D. N. Gillman.

JT had many unique pets over the years and especially loved his two sphynx cats and dachshunds. JT enjoyed sharing a beer with friends, barbequing (seasoning everything just right) and living life fully. JT will be deeply missed, and his friendship, humor, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
