John B. Archey

John B. Archey, age 46 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Highpoint Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on August 14, 1979. John was currently employed in construction at Prestige Dry Wall. An avid sports fan, he cheered for the Tennessee Volunteers and enjoyed playing softball and games. His kind heart will be remembered along with his stubborn, bull-headed nature. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawson and Anna Sue Archey, Joe Marks, and Ruby Marks. John is survived by his fiancée, Kristy Crownover; mother, Gwen Smith; father, John Archey; stepson, Ethan Davis; sister, Alicia (Shannon) Brown; niece, Kirah (Charles) Archey; great-niece, Aurora; and companion dog, Max. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
