John Henry Ault, 92, of Mamont, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in Brookdale Assisted Living, Murrysville.

Born November 6, 1932 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Charles H. Ault and Pauline M. (Geary) Ault.

John attended Westinghouse High School, and proudly served our country with the United States Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator through the Local Operating Engineers #66, retiring in 2002. John was a life member of the VFW Post #92 in Lower Burrell.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved restoring antique cars, and going to car shows and car cruises. John also liked talking on his CB radio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Ault; and his sisters, W. Jean Dodson and Mary Ann Maffett-Jones.

John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda R. (Stewart) Ault; brother, Bob L. (Ruth Ann) Ault of Saltsburg; sister, Bonnie C. (Jim) Caliendo of Plum; sister-in-law, Patricia Ault of Library, PA; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

Friends will be received in the First Baptist Church, 3740 7th Street Road, New Kensington, PA 15068, on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Kitchen officiating. Private interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living, for the care and compassion John received during his stay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the church at the above listed address.
