John Allen Ayris

John Allen Ayris, age 59, of Blanchard, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. The son of Harley Lee & Shirley Ann (Recker) Ayris, he was born on November 9, 1962 in Mount Pleasant. John was a graduate of Montabella High School with the class of 1980.

On September 7, 1985, in Edmore, he married Susan Jane Jensen, and together they enjoyed 36 years of marriage and raised 2 children. John retired from Federal Mogul Corporation after 29 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, golf, listening to classic rock music, and being with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley L. & Shirley A. Ayris; his parents-in-law, Robert E. & Carol J. Jensen; and a brother-in-law, Dean Tilmann.

Surviving are his wife, Susan J. Ayris of Blanchard; their children, Nicole Lynn & Matt Croll, of Edmore, and Kaylee Lynn Craven, of Mt. Pleasant; brothers and sisters, Mike & Jackie Ayris, of Shepherd, Kathy Tilmann, of Weidman, Greg & Vicky Ayris, of Remus, Aaron Ayris, of Farwell, Matthew Ayris, of Beaverton; sibling-in-law, Chris Jensen of Greenville, Alabama; and 5 nieces and nephews.
