With great sorrow today we announce John 'Johnny' Baca passed away on Saturday August 26, 2023. John lived most of his life in Socorro NM, Alamillo NM, and Albuquerque NM. In his younger years he enjoyed being a pilot, racing his El Camino, and being a master mechanic, gold panning, and traveling all around the USA. He was a collector of all things, always willing to give a helping hand if anyone needed it. John closed his mechanic shop in Socorro NM to move to Albuquerque with his wife and 2 sons, having 2 daughters, John eventually moved back to Socorro, later spending the rest of his life back in Alamillo.
John was proceeded in death by his parents Pedro and Maria Baca, sisters Joyce, Ruth, Edna. His ex-wife Roseanna and daughter Yvonne.
He is survived by his sister's Millie her husband Louie, Lydia. Brother's Brei wife Ermi, Richard wife Sylvia, Tommy wife Maria, Sons Carlos and Rodney Baca, daughter Yvette Baca, many nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
Services will be held at Daniel's funeral home on Thursday Sept 7, 2023, at 11 am with lunch after being provided by the family at Kathy's home.
