John Bailes Obituary
A private memorial service will be held at a later date for immediate family.
Dr. John Bailes was born on October 8, 1924, in Los Angeles. He served in the Merchant Marines and worked as a family physician and county coroner. He lived in various cities including Denver, Minneapolis, Glendale, Nome, Tucson, Kirksville, Gold Beach, and Phoenix.
Dr. John Bailes is survived by his brother Donald Bailes, son Dr. Douglas Bailes, daughters Virginia Holloway and Dr. Kathryn Todd. He was preceded in death by his father Rev. Stanley Bailes, mother Hazel Bailes, first wife Nina, and second wife Shirley.
