John Barcza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kaniewski Funeral Home - South Bend on Apr. 8, 2024.
John Gerard Barcza, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his home in South Bend.
Born on June 20, 1965, John was the son of Michael Barcza and Carol (Bajdek) Barcza. He was raised by his loving parents in South Bend along with his sister, Becky Edelhauser LeMay. He graduated from Clay High School in 1983 and went on to work in sales.
There is no doubt that John deeply loved his family, his life, and his jokes. He was a sports fan who hardly ever missed watching the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs. An avid bowler, John was particularly proud of the eight perfect games he bowled throughout his life.
Along with his parents and sister, John is survived by his son, Jonathan Barcza, his granddaughter, Mileena Barcza, brother-in-law, Alex LeMay, two nephews, Matthew and Jordi and one niece Elizabeth. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 12, 2024, at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3445 North Bendix Drive, followed by a short service from 11:30-12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.
