JOHN DENIS BARRY

BARRY, John Denis Of Burlington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 89, following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Anne Marie (O'Neill-Hamilton) Barry. Cherished son of the late Henry F. Barry and Gertrude A. (McCarthy) Barry. He was predeceased by his siblings: Henry F. Barry, Jr., David J. Barry, who is survived by his widow, Joan (Fisher) Barry, and Gertrude "Trudy" Barry and her late husband, Raymond Cooke. He is also survived by Anne Marie's children, H. William "Billy" Hamilton and his wife, Carol (Galluzzo-Hamilton); and Linda A. Tedesco and her husband, Michael. The family grew to include cherished grandchildren: William D. Hamilton and Annie E. Hamilton and Anthony H. Tedesco and his wife, Genevieve (Cutitta), Michael A. Tedesco, Jr. and his wife, Laura (Rosa), Peter E. Tedesco and his companion, Rachel Keatley, and Dr. Gabrielle A. Tedesco and her companion, Jake Rossetto, all of whom John loved and honored deeply. John is also survived by many dear and special Barry nieces and nephews, whom he cherished greatly. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, December 20, at 10 a.m., in St. Malachy's Church, 99 Bedford Street, Burlington, MA. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling Hours on Friday, December 19, from 4–7 p.m., in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, WOBURN.
