ANNA ROSE (MISURACA) CARRABINO – Of Woburn, died peacefully on February 12th in Winchester at the age of ninety-five.
Born in Boston on December 5, 1930, Anna was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosalie (Elibro) Misuraca, both of Sicily, Italy. Raised in a proud Italian family rooted in faith and tradition, Anna carried those values with her throughout her life.
Anna was a devoted wife to the late Joseph Carrabino and a loving and dedicated mother. A true homemaker in every sense, she lovingly raised her five children, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience, especially during times when her husband was ill. Her family was always her greatest priority and proudest accomplishment.
An avid reader, Anna enjoyed country and western music and was a longtime fan of Lawrence Welk. She also enjoyed trying her luck with scratch tickets, something that brought her a bit of fun and excitement. A woman of deep faith, Anna generously gave her time as a volunteer at the Woburn Senior Center. Strong, steady, and compassionate, her quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Christmas Eve was especially dear to Anna and was her favorite night of the year, as she lovingly hosted her entire family, creating treasured traditions and lasting memories for generations.
