John Joseph Baskar

John Joseph Baskar passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Bethlehem, PA. He was the son of the late Frank and Marian (Fassl) Baskar. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Baskar.
John was a union bricklayer of Local 5 for many years. He was a lifetime member of Frassy Island Hunting Club. John loved listening to Polka music. He was an avid card player of the game Hoss. John was an at home wine maker. His last contribution was being an organ donor.
John is survived by two daughters and one son, as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Sister, Janet Nasatka and brother Frank Baskar and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and neighbors.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to offer condolences on Thursday from 6 PM until the time of the service. Interment of cremated remains will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
