John Bauer Obituary
John enlisted in the US Army in 1958 and was honorably discharged as a Specialist 5 in 1961. He graduated from college with a bachelor's degree and worked for IBM as an equipment repairman until retirement.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Services are in care of Major Family Funeral Home.

John was a member the Central Coast Railway Club (aka the Central Coast Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society) for many years. We always remember his cheerful smile at our monthly meetings when he used to attend. He was a regular contributor of historical railroad programs covering Northern California and Oregon activities of railroad interest. We enjoyed his high quality presentations.
