John and I have known each other for maybe 30 or more years. During his years at Ohio State, I was one of his professors. John was always a very pleasant, very professional, and very helpful person. John had a very wide range of interest and knowledge, and he became an excellent, respected engineer. Our earlier contacts were renewed a few years ago, and we regularly chatted when he was in our building, waiting for one of his friends who also lived there.

John's illness was diagnosed in early 2021. Since that time John and I corresponded via E-mail. I consider both John and his wife Sue (and their children too) heroes. John, the patient was a hero, and Sue, the caregiver, was also a hero. It was a long struggle against a dangerous illness. John was able to carry on for a time longer than his doctors predicted, and he remained active.

We will think about John often. We will miss John very much.

We send our deep sympathy and condolences to all members of the Bauerle family,
especially to Sue,

Stephen Sebo

My sympathy to the family and friends. John and I worked together at AccuRay, in fact we joined the company the same year. He was a great co-worker and friend and we had many occasions to work together as well as socialize at the Geezer events. I will miss him, especially his vast knowledge and humor but most of all that wonder personality and smile!

John was a friend of mine through Columbus Outdoor Pursuits, and I enjoyed a number of years meeting with the club for North Market lunches. John's humor and vast knowledge on many subjects made for many great discussions and much laughter. I will miss him a great deal. May his memory be for a blessing to all his loved ones!

John was the first classmate I met upon arriving at high school as "the new girl." He single-handedly turned humdrum homeroom into a comedy club with his quick wit and constant smile. It was my luck that we shared surnames that began with "B." My sincere sympathies to John´s family...and many, many friends.

I remember John as such a kind and caring high school friend. His love of music was evident as we participated in several band programs together.
May memories, thoughts and prayers sustain you now and in the days ahead. God bless.

My sincere sympathy for your family´s loss of John. We shared some good memories from our time in marching band. John was a drummer extraordinaire. He was one of the good guys. God bless! May your memories sustain you during this difficult time.
