John A. Bauman

John A. Bauman, age 71, of Louisville, OH passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was born July 7, 1951 in Akron, OH to the late John and DeEtta (Berger) Bauman. He and his wife attended the Chapel in Marlboro. John was a Dairy Farmer his whole life and was the owner/operator of Bauman Family Farms in Louisville. He was a member of the Farm Bureau. He loved the farm life, but he especially loved his family and grandkids.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy (Dickerhoof) Bauman; two daughters, Jennifer (Bill) Wentling, Laura (Brian) Rhome; two sons, Brian (Jessica) and John (Lauren) Bauman; a sister, Janice (Don) Duffy; 11 grandchildren, Matt, AJ, Ashley, Katelyn, Carlee, Cassie, Owen, Brooklyn, Jayden, Peyton and Judah. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Bauman.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday (please dress casual and comfortable) at the Chapel In Marlboro with Pastor Joel Cochran and Pastor Tom Edwards officiating. Calling hours will be 6-8pm Wednesday evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville and 10-11am Thursday morning at the church. John will be laid to rest in Marlboro Cemetery.
