I am deeply saddened by the news of John´s passing.
To Dawn and the rest of the family, please accept my deepest condolences. John and I go back many years-from the neighborhood to our early school years. I knew early in life that he would achieve his goals. He was the first high school student I knew who talked about which stocks we should invest in.
Then came Amway-my mom affectionately called him "Mr. Amway." He tried to recruit everyone. And of course, we always heard him talking about Duke. I recall his nickname was Harman (Harmon), though I´m not sure why now that I look back.
I´ll fondly remember all the times we shared: CYC, hanging out at the Holy Cross Campus Center, sneaking into games during halftime at the Hart Center, road trips to Madison Square Garden, and trips to the Cape.
John, I wish we had stayed in better touch. Please know that you will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace, my friend. God bless.
Your memory will live on in all of us who were lucky to know you.
