John Beebe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso - Dover on Jun. 10, 2024.
John Howard Beebe JR, aged 80, of Dover, DE, passed away on June 5, 2024. Born to the late John Howard Beebe SR and Seretha Beebe on June 10, 1943, in Milford, DE, he lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and quiet dignity.
A skilled plumber by trade, John retired from Collins Mechanical, where he applied the skills he learned from his father with great proficiency. He was a man of few words, yet his actions spoke volumes, as he was always available to assist those in need with a gracious spirit.
John found solace in the simple pleasures of life: the roar of NASCAR races, the timeless stories of old western films, and the melodies of classic country music. An adventurer at heart, he delighted in sharing the excitement of roller coaster rides with his family during visits to amusement parks. His hobbies included baking, tending to his garden, watching birds, and caring for the squirrels in his backyard. His fondness for sweets, particularly jellybeans and gumdrops, was well-known among his loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife, Arlis Beebe; his children, Heather Fetterman (Aaron), Danielle Beebe (Brian), Matthew Beebe (Toni), Jeffrey Beebe, and Darren Jones; his grandchildren, Avery Beebe Stoken, Luciano Brown, Giuliana Brown, and Chase Fetterman; his brother, Dennis Beebe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his brother, Frank Beebe, and sisters, Marian Beebe, Barbara (Beebe) Townsend, and Mildred (Beebe) Warren.
The family will announce a service to celebrate John's life at a future date. In the interim, they invite those who knew John to reflect on the joy and fellowship he brought into their lives. John's memory will be held in the hearts of family and friends forever.
