John Beever Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Parkville on Aug. 25, 2023.
John B. Beever, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 66. John's life will always be remembered through his numerous feats of generosity and faith, his lasting love for his family, and by his immense dedication to serve his community.
Born on April 26, 1957, John was a loving father to Kelly Seefeldt and husband Matt, Lauren Durham and husband David, a dedicated brother to Jo Ann Slagle and Bruce and Beverly Jensen and husband Paul, a devoted Pop-Pop to Nicholas, Lucas, and Cameron, dear uncle of Maura Jensen. His rich legacy will continue to live on through his family which includes many other cherished relatives and friends. This loving circle is a testament to the warmth and generous heart that he displayed towards everyone in his life.
John was an invaluable asset to his community, diligently serving 37 years with the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Maryland. Despite his professional commitments, John never missed any opportunity to pursue his varied interests. Not only was he an ardent Baltimore Orioles and Ravens Football fan, but also one who harbored a deep love for animals.
An adventurous man, John cherished traveling across the United States and beyond, exploring destinations ranging from Ireland and England to Mexico and the Czech Republic. His love of nature was truly reflected in the energy and love he put into cultivating his vegetable garden and tending to his indoor plants.
John was a devoted parishioner of St. Ursula's Catholic Church and his faith commanded a central part of his life. His passion, love, and generosity will be deeply missed by all; yet his spirit will continue to live amongst us through the memories we hold dear.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate John's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD, 21234, on Thursday, August 31st 2023 for a visitation from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10AM at St. Ursula's Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
