Perry Wayne Beever

Perry Wayne Beever, 74, of Monticello passed away peacefully with his loving wife present at his residence Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born on July 4, 1951 in Lafayette to the late Dwayne and Marjorie Jolly Beever.
Perry graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1969 and enrolled in the army. After the army, he worked for Fairfield Manufacturing for 41 years before retiring in August 2014. On April 30, 2019 he married Debra Reynolds in Delphi, Indiana, and she survives.
Perry attended Hickory Grove Church in Delphi and loved the Lord. Perry enjoyed riding horses on trails with friends, reading books (especially The Bible), and playing guitar. He loved attending 4H events for his children as they grew up and participating in barrel contesting events. Perry was part of the Lafayette Great Banquet for many years, serving and volunteering his talents with great joy. He also drove a bus for special needs children, and had volunteered for Therapion Horse Therapy & Chaps. Perry loved music and had played with The Bumms Praise Band in Brookston United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Debra, Perry is survived by his children, Aaron (Elvia) Beever of Otterbein, Kara (Eric) Andrews of Mooreland, Indiana, Christina (Vince) Solenberg of Edinburg, Indiana; step children, Ralph Carlisle, Cherry (Eddie) McClelland; and Justin (Lauren Lee) Johnson; sister, Donna Wendorf of Mesquite, Texas; brother, Dennis Beever of Delphi, Indiana; and grandchildren, Mitchell Beever, Anna Beever, Emma Fritz, Gracie Andrews, Amelia Andrews, Luke Solenberg, and Ellie Johnson as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Perry was proceeded in death by an infant brother, Myron Keith Beever; sister, Mary Beever, and brother-in-law, Clyde Wendorf.
Visitation will be held at Hippensteel Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21st from 2-3 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service with Pastor Adam Morris officiating.
