Daniel A. Stanton, 32, of
Lafayette, Indiana, was taken far too soon on January 30, 2026, just one day before his 33rd birthday. He was born on January 31, 1993. While his time on earth was brief, Daniel's life was full of purpose, faith, laughter, and love.
Above all else, Daniel loved the Lord. His deep devotion to Christ shaped him into the loving, selfless, and servant-hearted man so many knew and admired. His wife shared that above all things, Daniel was devoted to Christ and lived his life for Him - a truth reflected in every relationship he held and every path he walked.
Daniel was a natural leader with a determined spirit, but at his core, he was a helper. Everything he built, taught, and shared came from a desire to serve others well. In 2020, he founded Helper Dumpster Rentals, building his business from the ground up with integrity, grit, and heart. Daniel took pride not only in his work, but in the people he could support along the way - always willing to teach, encourage, and lend a hand.
Daniel also launched several YouTube channels, where he generously shared his knowledge - teaching others how to repair trucks, learn about RV transporting, and understand how to run a successful dumpster rental business. Helping others succeed brought Daniel genuine joy, and he found deep fulfillment in building community through teaching and encouragement.
Also in 2020, Daniel married the love of his life, Kara Schick, a year he often believed that his life truly began. He cherished being an entrepreneur, but nothing mattered more to him than family time, making people laugh, and loving with his whole heart. Kara says Daniel will always be remembered for his big, kind heart.
Even in the midst of his battle with cancer, Daniel remained relentless - a word he often used to describe how he chose to live and fight. He never approached life passively; everything he did was done with intention, prayer, and deep conviction. Daniel was unafraid to go against the status quo, trusting God's leading over popular opinion and standing firmly in what he believed, no matter the outcome. When asked if he would be at peace should God choose to take him, Daniel simply expressed that he wanted what God wanted - a reflection of the faith, perseverance, and surrender that defined his life.
Daniel graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette in 2011, where he lettered in both football and wrestling. He was baptized as a child at Charity Baptist Church in Lafayette, laying the foundation for a lifelong faith.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Kara Stanton, of Lafayette; his father, David (Glenda) Stanton, of
Lafayette, Indiana; his mother, Marla (Jim) Evans, of
Lafayette, Indiana; his brother, David Leonard, of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandmother, Leah Ruth Kensey, of

He was preceded in death by cousins Aaron Lee and Adam Lee; grandparents David R. Stanton, Joyce B. Stanton, and Robert Kensey; and his beloved dogs Bella, Lucy, and Big Al, whom he surely greeted again.

Daniel's life was a testimony of faith, hard work, generosity, and joy. Though he was taken too soon, his legacy will continue through the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the unwavering faith he lived by every day.
