Jack Donoho Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation Services on Jan. 27, 2026.
Jackie (Jack) Wayne Donoho, 71, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on January 22, 2026. He was born on September 25, 1954, in Frankfort, Indiana.

Jack lived a quiet, content life and found joy in simple routines. He loved his coffee, and according to his family, his favorite place in the world was outside-sitting in his swing with a cup of coffee and a fire nearby. That was where he was most at peace.

Jack was a devoted cat dad to five beloved cats-Toby, Casper, Lily, Luna, and Smudge-who truly ruled his world. Each night before going to bed, Jack made sure to call each of their names, ensuring they were all inside and safe. It was a small ritual that perfectly reflected his gentle and caring nature. He also enjoyed relaxing evenings watching Hallmark movies.

Jack married the love of his life, Nancy, 25 years ago. Together they shared many special moments, often enjoying date nights at their favorite spot, Arni's-a place that held many happy memories for them.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Donoho; his children, Sherry Brady Collins (Brandon) of Kokomo, Jon Gillen (Cassidy) of Lafayette, and Stacy Tilton (Everett) of Battle Ground; and his grandchildren, Tyler Tilton (Kiley) and Madison Tilton of Battle Ground, Autumn Brady of Kokomo, Savannah Gillen and Holston Gillen of Lafayette. He is also survived by his sisters, Teresa Donoho and Jenny Drummonds, both of Lafayette, and his step-sister, Andrea Moore of Mississippi.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Jack Donoho; his brother, Mike Donoho; and his sister, Sue Smith.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Tippecanoe Funeral and Cremation Services, 1671 W. 350 N., West Lafayette, Indiana 47906. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 N., West Lafayette, Indiana 47906.
