John Berus Obituary
He was born July 3, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Raymond and Dorothy Schreiber Berus.
John was employed at Burger King taking care of all their custodial needs. He enjoyed many activities including crossword puzzles, word search, watching western movies and listening to the sounds of Motown. John liked to see how things worked, especially mechanical things, and would spend time exploring and taking apart vacuum cleaners and stereos. He was an enthusiastic Detroit Tiger fan. Among his favorite food items and treats was a Little Caesar's pizza.
He will be missed by his family including cousin Susan Schanta, second cousins, Michael (Joan) Schanta, Christopher Schanta, Colleen Foster, James Schanta, William (Ann) Schanta and James's daughter Alyssa Schanta, who along with her dad were John's caregivers.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, Michigan.
Inurnment will take place at St. Peter Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
