John Bianca Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rogers Family Mortuary - Alamosa on Aug. 29, 2025.
John Leon Bianca, Jr., age 76, passed away on August 26, 2025, after a life rich with dedication and joy. Born on March 4, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John Leon Bianca, Sr., and Olga Urbanczyk, John was a beacon of strength and character to his family, friends, and community.

John's life was marked by enduring love and commitment. On May 29, 1994, he married Jackie Lynn Clark in Alamosa, Colorado, a union that grew into a beautiful partnership. Jackie remains in their family home, where the memories of their years together continue to bring comfort.

He took immense pride in his family. John is survived by his children, Kyle (Nina) Crawford, Krystan (Lucas) Stinemetz, and Kellie (Michael) Paxton. His legacy shines on through his beloved grandchildren-Presley Crawford, Jayden, Luca, Austin, Kix, Grace Stinemetz, Lino Archuleta, Alexander (Chanel) Paxton, and Tyler Paxton- and his great-grandchildren: Zayn Paxton, Declan Paxton, and Raegan Paxton. Each held a special place in his heart, and he spoke of them with pride and joy.

John's dedication to serving others was truly remarkable. He devoted 35 years to a career in law enforcement, including 23 proud years with the Alamosa County Sheriff's Office. He retired with the esteemed rank of Undersheriff/Major. Throughout his distinguished service, John impacted thousands of lives through his commitment to protecting and serving others. He was recognized with numerous commendations, including the prestigious Medal of Valor.

A proud Mason for most of his life, John deeply valued the principles of brotherhood, service, and integrity. All values he carried into every aspect of his life. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a man of many passions. He had a lifelong love for model trains, where his precision and patience brought intricate scenes to life, captivating all who saw them. His skill extended to woodworking, where each handcrafted piece reflected his creativity and told a unique story.

John will be remembered as a good man, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a great-grandfather, as well as a loyal friend. His humor, wisdom, and steady presence brought comfort to those around him. He led by example, strong in principle, generous in spirit, and unwavering in his care for others.

Per John's request, cremation was performed at the Rogers Family Mortuary Crematory. To leave online condolences, tributes, or words of comfort for John's family, please visit www.RogersFunerals.com
