Randy Dean Bridger

Sensei Randy Bridger, 66, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Sanford, Colorado. Born on May 27, 1959, in Pasco, Washington, Randy lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his faith, and the many people he inspired through his teaching and friendship.

In 1987, Randy moved his family to Colorado with a clear purpose: to share his passion for martial arts by teaching Karate. Known affectionately as "Sensei," he devoted himself to helping both children and adults develop self-control and self-defense skills. His students remember him not only for his expertise but also for the joy he brought into every lesson, his smile could light up a room, and his infectious laugh made even the most challenging training sessions feel welcoming.

Randy had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether hunting in the mountains, fishing by a quiet stream, camping under the stars, or boating across Colorado's lakes, he found peace and joy in nature. He also took pride in growing fruits and vegetables-a reflection of his nurturing spirit and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

Faith was central to Randy's life. He was deeply rooted in his relationship with God and carried that strength into every aspect of his journey. His light-hearted humor and unwavering love for family and friends left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

Randy is lovingly remembered by his father Will (Eveline) Bridger; mother Dorothy Wallis; siblings Rodney Watson, Teresa Watson, Tina (Rodd) Farnes, Tom (Dora) Watson, and Anita Watson; children Tyler Bridger, Melissa Pizarro, Matthew Bridger, and Patrick Bridger; grandchildren Maddy Mando and Cole; as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
