John P. Blasczyk, Jr., 65, of Hamden, passed away at his home on November 3, 2022.
Born in New Haven on January 27, 1957, he was the son of the late John P. Blasczyk, Sr. and Dorothy Kopor Blasczyk. John was a resident of Hamden all his life, and a 1974 Hamden High School graduate. He was a longtime employee of the U.S. Postal Service. John worked out of the Brewery Street Office in New Haven and was an Employee Union Representative for many years. John is survived by many cousins, including James and Christopher McNamara, Kathleen Nielsen, Michael, Mathew and Stephen Kopor, Ronald Blasczyk, and Nancy Lee. A devoted son to his parents, he was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan and animal lover.
Services will be private. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Contributions in John's memory may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. To send a condolence to his family, please see www.beecherandbennett.com.
