John J. "Jack" Bonner

John J. "Jack' Bonner passed away peacefully, on March 28th, surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Maryann (nee Dormann). Jack was the father of John (Carolyn), the late Kevin (Janice), Kelleigh (Kevin) Nally; grandfather of Jacquelyn (Martin), Bridgette (Curtis), John 3rd (Gabrielle), Kaitlyn (Patrick), William (Kristie), Brendan, Griffin, Scarlette and Reese. He will be truly missed by his 15 great-grandchildren. Jack was also predeceased by his sister Marie "Honey" Klemmer.
A North Catholic and Drexel graduate, Jack began his career at Philco in the early 1960's. Followed by a long tenure as an executive at Fischer and Porter in Warminster, PA.
Jack was a long time member and supporter of St. Albert the Great Parish, where he spent many years on the Finance Committee and volunteered within the CCD program.
Jack and Maryann were early members of Bustleton Swim Club where they spent many wonderful summers with their growing family.
In his retirement, he stayed very active riding his bike and attending the sporting events of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack was the greatest influence in the lives of his family. A loving, caring, compassionate person who has left the world a better place.
Relatives and friends are invited to call, Wednesday, April 2nd from 9:15 to 10:15am at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Interment Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA.
