John T. Borah

John Thomas Borah, age 79, of Indio, CA, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025.

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, John spent his early years as an Air Force dependent, living in Massachusetts, New York, and England before his family settled in Riverside, California when he was 10.

At the age of 20, John was drafted into the U.S. Army and served honorably in Vietnam, where he was wounded in combat and awarded the Purple Heart. Upon returning home, he met the love of his life, Carol Ann Enneking. They married in 1972 and built a beautiful life together over the next 53 years.

John enjoyed a successful career with Bank of America, where he served as Vice President and Branch Manager, retiring after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his three children, Ann Marie, John Paul, and Robert; and six cherished grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, John Lukas, Sophia, Jackson and Logan.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Moreno Valley. Interment will follow at 12:45 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in John's memory.
