John F. Boyle, of Brookfield, husband of the late Priscilla (Anderson) Boyle, died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday May 6th. He was born in Greenwich, CT on November 10, 1936, son of the late Lester and Mary (Flanagan) Boyle.
John was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during peacetime.
John worked for The City of Danbury as a Data Processor for many years until retirement.
John was especially fond of trips to the casino or the horse track, He looked forward to summer family vacations at the Jersey Shore. John always had many projects going on and remained very active his entire life.
John was a talented singer and had a great love for music especially Crooners.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, John Boyle, Jr (Valerie), and Patrick Boyle; his daughters, Brenda Rivard (Michael), and Deborah Wood (Timothy); his seven grandchildren Gabriella Kaufman, Kent Boyle, Ashley Fortier, Lindsey Fortier, Benjamin Rivard, Matthew Rivard, Justin Wood and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gerry Boyle and his sister, Julie Boyle.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 10:30am at Central Cemetery, Brookfield.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday, May 12th between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00pm.
