John E. Breshears

John E. Breshears, 83, of Windsor, Missouri, died late Sunday evening, November 23, 2025, in Windsor.
He was born May 29, 1942, in Cross Timbers, Mo., the son of Odie Robert Breshears and Josephine Edith (Beck) Breshears. On November 2, 1968, he married Shirley Darlene Gemes in Fristoe, Mo., and she preceded him in death on December 9, 2020.
He worked at Stahl Specialty Company in Warrensburg and Unitog at both the Warsaw and Warrensburg locations. In his retirement, he worked at the Windsor Laundromat for several years. He enjoyed country music, watching Westerns and was never without his cowboy hat. He looked forward to going out to eat with his family, enjoying pie and coffee for dessert. He had a warm sense of humor. He was a devoted father and an especially devoted grandfather to his grandson, Trevin.
Survivors include a son, John Mark Breshears (Angela), Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Breshears, Windsor, Mo.; a grandson, Trevin Cole Breshears, Windsor, Mo.; an uncle, Hervie Beck, Warsaw, Mo.; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 28, 2025, at the New Home Cemetery, Cross Timbers, Mo. A memorial has been established for funeral expenses and contributions may be left in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
