John Allen Brown

Feb 26 1967 - Nov 11 2025 Nov 11 2025

John Allen Brown, lovingly known as "Pete," age 58, passed away on November 11, 2025, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1967, in Melrose Park, Illinois, to his loving parents John Allen Starks Sr. and Vernita Lynn Peecher. John proudly served in the United States Navy, where he formed lifelong bonds built on sacrifice, honor, and unwavering loyalty.

To many, John-"Pete"-was more than a friend; he was a brother in every sense of the word. He carried the spirit of service with him throughout his life, forging deep connections not only with those he served alongside in the military but also with his brothers in his bike club. That brotherhood became a second family, created through trust, loyalty, and the freedom of the open road. Pete's strength, steady presence, and genuine heart left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Beyond these communities, John was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a loving brother. He is survived by his daughter Tirza Lynn Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren Kaylynn, Zayvier, Irys, and Azalya; his sister Michelle Johnson; his nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply and forever cherish his memory.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen Starks and Vernita Lynn Peecher.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Date and time are still to be determined. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed at celebrationoflife.tv, where a recording will also be available afterward.

John "Pete" Brown leaves behind a legacy of service, loyalty, brotherhood, and love-a legacy that will continue to live on in every story shared and every life he touched.
