Heather Nicole Baxley, 51, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Karla Fran Whitfield and later adopted by Christian Tacey.

Heather grew up in North Texas and attended both Plano and Allen High School, where she made lifelong friends and lasting memories. She later earned her degree from Texas Woman's University in Political Science, a milestone she was deeply proud of.

On February 26, 1993, she married the love of her life, Bryan, in Plano, Texas, beginning a partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support.

A loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter, Heather centered her life around her family. She had a passionate, fiery spirit and endless love for her daughters. Over the years, her home was shared with many beloved friends, pets, and other cherished family.

Heather found joy and peace in thunderstorms and the waves of the ocean. Places like the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Placid. Her appreciation for culture inspired many fond memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Heather's legacy is one of love, kindness, and a heart open to both people and animals alike. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/heather-nicole-baxley on Heather's obituary page.

Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening, November 20, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
