Mark Aaron Baland

Mark Aaron Baland of Allen, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 51. He was born on June 20, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Everett Mark and Janetta Rea (Erwin) Baland.

Mark grew up in Allen, where he graduated from Allen High School. He went on to attend Collin College, earning an associate degree. Throughout his career, Mark worked in the restaurant industry, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Mark was very skilled with electronics and computers. He was also a proud Eagle Scout.

Above all, Mark will be remembered as a devoted father to his son, Zane. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Mark is survived by his father, Everett Mark Baland of Allen, Texas; son, Zane Baland of Allen, Texas; sister, Melissa Lee and husband, Kevin of Monroe, Washington; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janetta Baland.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: celebrationoflife.tv.
