John Burant Obituary
John was born on October 2, 1931, in Racine, WI to the late John and Norma (Peterson) Burant. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Catherine (Feil) in 1961.
John's passion for learning paved the way for a lifelong career in education. He earned his master's degree from UW Whitewater and went on to pursue many educational positions within the Germantown, WI school district up until his retirement.
John was an avid reader, loved to travel and helped Cathie cook. He always enjoyed a good game of rummy royal with the family. He was a friend to everyone and would always greet you with a smile. John was simply a wonderful person who cherished all that life gave him. Family meant everything to John, and he meant the world to us.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his beloved wife Catherine; brothers, Anthony (Edith) Burant and Robert Burant; and sisters, Elaine (George) Orban and Bernice (Arnold) Weidner.
John is survived by his daughter, Juli (Patrick) Belfiori, and his son Andrew (Nicole) Burant; grandsons, Zac Nowatzki, Sean Burant; and granddaughter Samantha (Ty) Facen. He will be missed by the pups as well.
A private service for John will be held.
