A friend like John will never be gone from our memories. He's only gone ahead to get the Birds ready for the rest of us. But we will miss the humor and help that he shared with all of us.

John,

How do I say goodbye to you? Your departure so sudden, not nearly enough time to show you the friendship that you have shown me. A mere 7 years seemed like a lifetime, yet seems like yesterday. You always spoke your mind, but never imposed it on others. You were there for me, with a helping hand and encouragement when I need it most.

You were always so cynical but always looking for that storybook life. Maybe your search is over, and you have found your final paradise. But……for the rest of us, how do we say goodbye?

I will miss you John

It was just over 3 years ago when I met John for the first time. At first, he struck me as quite the character; brusque in manner, brutally honest - yet almost always offering a hint of the goodness and kindness he worked so hard to conceal.

His love of Thunderbirds was equaled only by his love for friends and family. At a mere 47 years of age, it is they who bear the loss of the John who will never be. His heart may have failed him physically, but his spirit was all heart - and that is what we'll always remember him best for.

Rest peacefully, John.

JOHN and I were close friends for over 1.5 years. He was ALWAYS kind and patient with me and there for me whenever I needed him. My heart goes out to Neil and Jay,they are good men and have been dealt a lousy hand right now. But like their father---they will get through this. John was funny, love jokes and laughing, and smart. Enjoyed old movies, trivia, and games...that kept the mind going. I just loved the way he would get that little sparkle in his eyes. His "baby" his "63 T-Bird will miss all the attetion he gave to her...I will miss him more than words can ever say. But I will always remember the peaceful look on his face and his last words to me.JOHN---I wish I could have helped you more.Once again, Neil and Jay---I am so very sorry wish I could have done more-I really did try. JOHN, was a good man and his sons are too.Mrs. Burger, I am sorry about things with you too, it must be hard on you too. I will miss JOHN for more reasons than anyone will ever know, he always made me smile and feel good. Ok a word to him---you won this bet.,..the dollar is on the fridge...Mr. BURGER--I miss you !!
