John Raymond Caldwell, 86, of North Wales, died Friday, February 27, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Van Horn) Caldwell.

Born July 14, 1939 in Columbus, OH, he was a son of the late John Russell and Evelyn Geneva (Mowry) Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell was employed as a claims adjuster with State Farm for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and longtime member of Sanctuary United Methodist Church, North Wales. His hobbies included golfing, playing cards, and watching Philadelphia sports.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Susan A. Caldwell of Hatboro, and Deborah L. Weidensaul (Scott) of Lansdale; four grandchildren, Matthew Sutton, Allison Sutton, Tyler Weidensaul, and Cole Weidensaul; and his sister-in-law, Mary Margaret (Moe) Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Russell (Bud) Caldwell.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Ave., North Wales, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in John's memory to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), PO Box 4110, Woburn, MA 01888.
