John Calkins Obituary

Born in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late Richard Eldred and Dorothy (Mae Bryn) Calkins
John loved tools and gadgets that he could put to good use in his spare time. He also created a program named "Johnny Calc", which was trademarked. John had a vast collection of guns, many which were antiques.
Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia, is his daughter, Christina Calkins; brothers Grant Calkins and Clark Calkins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC (1020 East Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525). Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
