John W. Canada, 75, of Westfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023, surrounded by his family. John was born on July 28, 1948, in Bedford, Indiana, the son of Conley and Mary (Davis) Canada.
After graduating from Broad Ripple High School, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force.
John was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lucy, whom he married on December 1, 1984.
John is survived by his sister, Judy Fraps; his three children, Jeff (Cyndi), Jody, and Joe (Mekenzie) Canada; his three grandchildren, Karli, Tyler (Haleigh), and Braedon Canada; as well as Lucy's three children, Jenn Schultheis, Scott and Matt Hanafee.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
