John S. Cantwell Jr.

John S. Cantwell Jr., 50, of Keansburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 24th, at home. He was born in Red Bank and has been a life-long resident of Keansburg. John was a self-employed painter, he enjoyed fishing and collecting. He was an avid Mets fan and a huge animal lover. John was a good natured person and would help anyone. John is pre deceased by his father, John Cantwell Sr. in 2021 and his mother, Deborah Cantwell in 2017. He is survived by his two sisters and brothers in-law, Janet and Matthew York of Middletown and Carrie and Joel Drost of Connecticut; two nephews, Matthew Drost and Matthew York and his niece, Bailey Cantwell. Arrangements were under the direction of the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private.
