John Capobianco Obituary
John J Capobianco, 79, of Port Jefferson Station NY died at the St Catherine of Sienna Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Smithtown NY on September 26, 2025.
He was born in Corona NY in 1945 to John and Theresa Capobianco. A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Army from March 26, 1963 to February 23, 1966. He then worked as a salesperson in the Garment District in Manhattan for close to 40 years.
John J Capobianco was preceded in death by his parents John V Capobianco and Theresa Capobianco and his brother James Capobianco. He was a devoted and loving father to John, Lisa and Anthony Capobianco, who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them. The NY Yankees and NY Jets will also be missing a dedicated and loyal fan.
Donations to the Sons of Italy Foundation or the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
