John J. "Casey"

John J. Casey, known to all as "Casey," passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the greatest loves of his life.

Born on September 19, 1955, Casey lived a life defined by loyalty, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a man of his word-someone you could always count on-whose presence brought comfort, stability, and quiet strength to those around him. He had a great sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him.

Casey's greatest joy in life was his girls, Laura, his wife for 50 years, and Jessimarie, and he carried immense pride and love for them every single day. Roman brought an extra light into his life-filling his days with joy, laughter, and sharing a love of baseball.

In recent years, Casey faced Parkinson's disease with remarkable resilience. He took each day as it came-accepting the challenges while still finding the good-and met life with a steady, positive outlook that never wavered. His strength and grace through this journey were a testament to the kind of man he was.

Casey is now free and at peace. He leaves this world knowing his family is surrounded by love, comforted by the knowledge that Mikey has stepped up to care for his girls. And surely, he now watches over them-especially cheering on Roman at his baseball games-from the very best seat in the house.

Laura and Jessimarie would like to express their deepest gratitude and love to everyone who helped along the way. They have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from their "village" and appreciate it more than words could ever fully express.

His legacy of love, loyalty, laughter, and quiet strength will live on in all who knew him.
