Happy birthday my old friend. You are missed greatly but your memories will last forever. I often think of the great times we had together. They always bring smiles to my old face.
I ask for help from John´s family or friends. Many of us would like to pay tribute to John and visit his burial site, but no one seems to know where that is. If you know please share with me so I can tell his friends. Gary Zoeller. [email protected]

I was so sorry to here of John's passing. My parents were friends of his parents. I remember playing with him on the farm. Later I worked with him at Dreyer Medical Clinic lab. He was a wonderful boss and man. He will be greatly missed.

John Clark was an active member of the Chicagoland mercedes club, and a friend to all in the club. He was a Mercedes automobile enthusiast, and an active participant in our events over many years. His fellowship and camaraderie with many club members will be greatly missed.

I've only known John since my wife and I became residents of Heartland Meadows 3 years ago. The homeowner's association needed a president and John graciously volunteered. He ran the association meetings in a professional, convivial manner. We casually talked about 3 loves in common - fishing in Canada, vintage cars, and Scotch whiskey. I'm sorry we never got the chance to take that fishing trip to Canada together. I really liked my new friend. Our sincere condolences to his daughter, Sarah, and her family.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with John at Dreyer Clinic Laboratory. He was a mentor to me as I came to work as lab director. He was smart and very well liked. I especially remember how good John was at drawing blood. When ever we had a difficult patient, we would ask John to give it a try and 100% of the time he was successful. I got to know him on a personal level and always could count on a friendly hug and shoulder to cry on. I had lunch with him this summer and we had a good time remembering better days. I will miss you John, may you rest in peace.

John and I first met in fifth grade. He lived on a farm and I in a subdivision. Over the years our friendship grew until high school and eventually college when we grew very close. We were room mates in college for two years and he manage my rock band during that time. After college for some unknown reason we drifted apart. We both married, had children, raised a family and nurtured successful careers. Fortunately we reunited the last few years and spoke frequently about our adventures together when we were younger. John will always hold a special spot in my heart. He actually introduced me to the person I have been married to for over 55 years. He was a special person, loved and respected by all who knew him. John will be missed. May he rest in peace. His old friend, Gary

Jonh was the manager of the rock and roll band I was in circa 1965-67 at NIU. He had a yellow Dodge Charger that we would load up for our band jobs. His mother made a terrific apple pie. John would tell me he did notlike to drink milk, he grew up on a farm and had first hand knowledge about how milk was produced. We were to meet for lunch but did not get around to it. Donot wait.
I will think about you, rest in peace. Your buddy Sam
