John Everett Clark, age 68, passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. A Haywood County native, born with an infectious passion for fishing and hunting, and a profound love for life, he consistently found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as riding his motorcycle and serene evenings on the porch at home.
His greatest love, however, was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Clark, his children, Tracy Clark and Kevin Pressley, five grandchildren, Katlyn Moody, Scott, Blake, Tyler and John Pressley, and several great-grandchildren.
Though he may be gone, his indomitable spirit lives on through the laughter, love, and cherished memories we hold dear. His legacy serves as a testament to the extraordinary father he was, and his wisdom continues to inspire and uplift us. He was an amazing husband, father, and friend, but most notably, an incredible human being. His memory serves as a beacon of comfort and inspiration, and even in his absence. His spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched.
His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts.
Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service of Maggie Valley is caring for the family and the online register is available at www.smokymountaincremations.com.
