MR. JOHN THOMAS CLARK

Funeral services for Mr. John Thomas Clark will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 8, 2026, at First Church of God with Bro. Mike Lewis, Bro. Randy Woolington and Bro. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Louisville, MS. Visitation will be 1 PM – 2 PM Sunday, February 8, 2026, at First Church of God. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

John Clark, of Noxapater, Mississippi, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer and has gone home to be with Jesus.

John was a devoted husband to Jennifer Clark and a loving father to Cassie Dunaway, whom he adored. He proudly served his community for 19 years with the Noxapater Fire Department and honorably served 12 years in the Army National Guard. John dedicated 30 years of service to Taylor Machine Works, where he was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and kindness.

Outside of work and service, John enjoyed gardening, loved animals, fishing and found peace in the simple things of life. He was a steady presence, always willing to help others, and deeply valued his family.

John is survived by his wife, Jennifer Clark; his daughter, Cassie Dunaway, mother-in-law Pam Dunaway, his sisters-in-laws, Amy (Freddy) Thomas and Jackie Simpson; and his beloved nieces, Lexi Thomas, Kelli Thomas, and Gracie Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentiss and Ollie Sue Clark.

John will be remembered for his quiet strength, faithful heart, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed until the day his family is reunited with him in Heaven.

Pallbearers are Steve Jones, James Stalcup, Freddy Thomas, Landon Griffin, Chuck Odom, Adam Reed.

Honorary pallbearers are Sam Reed, Beeny Sanders, Rex Allen Smith.
