John Charles Claytor passed away on January 23, 2025 at home. He was pre-deceased by his dad, John H. Claytor and his maternal grandparents, Frieda and Charles Nardozzi. John is survived by his mom, Rose Nardozzi Claytor, sister Debbie Giardina, sister Dolores Pizzolato, brother-in-law Vincent Turano, an aunt and Godmother Dolores Cerillo, and uncle Carmen Nardozzi, also, many cousins and an abundance of friends. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. To know John was to love him.
John was born August 16, 1955 and lived in Middlesex all his life. He graduated M.H.S in 1973. He worked for Johnson & Johnson for a few years and began his journey as a chef working at various well-known Italian restaurants. He then pursued a career as a baker opening up Confections by Jon in Middlesex. John loved baking and made every holiday and birthday so special. He also loved playing his bass guitar on which he was so talented. His passion for his Rickenbacker bass was amazing.
John was a great guy who was always there to lend a helping hand. His main purpose in life was the love and devotion to his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
