Jack was a fantastic, caring, and generous guy. He was a close friend of our family growing up. Knowing that we shared a love of baseball, he often went out of his way to come over our house after work and spend time giving me batting tips when I was a kid. Ironically, years later when I was in high school, I occasionally ran into Jack when he was umpiring my games. I have fond memories of him and will always appreciate the time he spent with me. All the best to Rita, Sean, Maria-Elana, Mark, and the entire family. Jim Picardi
