John F. Malloy
March 16, 1945 – January 22, 2026
After a full life marked by laughter, the love of family and friends, travel, golf and a lot of hard work, John Malloy has passed away.
He was the devoted husband of Mary (Sullivan) Malloy, a loving Dad to Mark (Sarah Malloy) and Matt (Sue McMichael), and the cherished brother of Kevin Malloy, Edward Malloy and Danny Horrigan. He also had many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Malloy was born in Boston. He graduated from Boston Technical High School, Fitchburg State College and the MBA program at Northeastern University. His long, successful career in finance took him to posts in Boston, Atlanta and New York, where he made lifelong friends and memories. Along the way, he also made time for worthy causes; coaching little league, supporting adult literacy and fundraising for his alma mater.
While his accomplishments are impressive, he will always be remembered for his kindness and genuine interest in people. He was a gentleman in a world that needs them.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend and are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greater Boston Food Bank would be appreciated https://my.gbfb.org.
