John William "Johnny" Clubb, 66, of Lumberton, passed unexpectedly Friday, October 14, 2022. He was born September 26, 1956, in Beaumont, to Jo Ann Jacobs Clubb and William Boyd Clubb, Jr.
John worked as a carpenter for many years. He was an eighth generation Texan and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie, #3719 in Crystal Beach.
John is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Catherine Easley Clubb of Lumberton; daughter, Tara Elizabeth Clubb of Austin; son, Chase Hunter Clubb and his partner, Adriana, of Centreville, Virginia; father, William "Billy" Clubb of Lumberton; brother, Dan Jacobs and his wife, Teresa, of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Cheryl Stone and her husband, Mark, of Lumberton; Becky Harris and her husband, Butch, of Lumberton; nephews, Billy Joe Gallio and his wife, Krystyna, of Spring; Matthew Gallio and his wife, Corinne, of Lumberton; nieces, Jennifer Roberts and her husband, Tim, of Adelaide, Australia; Kayla Budro and her husband, Aaron, of Lumberton; beloved cousins, RaNel Clubb of Beaumont; Dale McNeely; Bryan McNeely; special friend, Jason "Bubba" Schexsnaider, all of Kountze; numerous great nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Jo Helen Easley.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Clubb and father-in-law, Frank Easley.
A gathering of Mr. Clubb's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Landrum Cemetery, Fannett.
Pallbearers are Aaron Budro, RaNel Clubb, Billy Gallio, Matthew Gallio, Butch Harris, and Alan Young.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Landrum Cemetery Association, 8394 West Clubb Road, Beaumont, Texas 77713 or to Some Other Place, 590 Center Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
