John Steven Cochrane

John Steven Cochrane 1947- 2026 John S. Cochrane, aka Steve, was born on February 23, 1947, in Washington D.C. He spent 25 years in the United States Airforce achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and served his country with integrity and honor. After his military career he worked for Wyoming Emergency Management then moved onto the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 8 in Lakewood, Colorado. Steve was also a lifelong Amateur Radio Operator, W7JSC. He is survived by his daughter Lisa M. Cochrane and was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley L. Cochrane. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Cheyenne National Cemetery for Steve and Shirley.
