John R. Conti

John R Conti, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022. He was born on March 20, 1935 in Columbus Ohio. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Velma and John J. Conti, and his wife Evelyn Conti. He is survived by his children John M. Conti and Christine Conti (Kurt). Step children Debbie Plotts, Beth Young (Gregg) and Richard Plotts. Grandchildren Gregg, Ashley, Zach and A.J. and five great grandchildren. John was a graduate of North High school and retired from Englefield Oil Company. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Redmen. He enjoyed fishing (and the tales that came with it), OSU football, camping, zipping around the north end on his scooter, telling jokes, drinking his morning coffee with his friends, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will welcome friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Rutherford Funeral Home 2383 North High St., Columbus OH 43202 from 2 to 5 pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday February 12th, 2022 at 10 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
